In this piece, we incorporate the shards of glass that are broken during the part of the Chupa (wedding ceremony), when we remember the destruction of the Temple.
The added colored glass in the piece, is a blessing to the newly married couple, for a life filled with love and color.
It is customary in many Jewish homes to have a reminder of the destruction of the Temple.
